True Blood’s Natasha Alam now Playboy cover girl
- The beautiful Russian-Americana actress and model Natasha Alam celebrated her addition to the cast of vampire series “True Blood” by baring it all for Playboy magazine. Alam played the role of “Yvetta,” a leggy, erotic dancer at the Fangtasia bar owned by Alexander Skarsgard’s “True Blood” character Eric Northman. It made her July 2010 cover girl of playboy magazine. Alam said
It’s been so amazing to be in ‘Playboy.’ The magazine is such a legend. I still can’t believe I’m on the cover. I wanted to be in Playboy since… As an actress, it was my dream.

I’d never done nudity. I had to overcome a few things in my head to do it.
The actress tells the magazine.
[Then] here comes Alexander Skarsgard. He drops his robe, and he’s not wearing a sock nothing. He’s just totally out there, walking around as if nothing’s going on. I was like, ‘If he can do it, I can do it.’
Natasha’s first acting role was for a cigarette commercial that aired in Italy. She was guest or co-star in “CSI”, “NYPD Blue”, “Nip/Tuck”, “The Unit” and “Entourage.” She also played the recurring role of ‘Ava’, a Forrester model, in “The Bold and the Beautiful “from 2004 to 2007. Films she appeared in the 2007 horror “Shadow Puppets” and the 2008 comedy “The Women.”
Alam, in 1998, married the grandson of the former Shah of Iran, Amir Ebrahim Pahlavi Alam, in New York and they moved to London soon after. Those nuptials granted her the title of princess. They later lived in Los Angeles so Natasha could pursue her acting career. However, the couple finalized their divorce in 2005.
