Mexico vs. Uruguay Forecast June 22, 2010

June 22, 2010 at 21:00 Mexico vs. Uruguay, both teams will show the game in world cup 2010 which took place at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium, Rustenburg. Both Uruguay and Mexico are the sides of a very strong and they can come and play for the draw to secure their place in the second round. Mexico however, is at a disadvantage because they are a point behind Uruguay on goal differential. Mexico, after playing so well will not want to face Argentina in the second round.

Mexico has played some of the most fluid football of the tournament and have a lot of football fans and coaches marvel at their strength to attack. Coach Javier Aguirre has deployed troops is very offensive minded and has gone with a 4-3-3 formation. His gamble has certainly paid as Mexico is on the verge of enjoying the appearance of 5 turns two in a row.

Where is Uruguay on the other hand is the culmination of Group A and has not been scored on. Their 3-0 win against Bafana-Bafana extremely convincing. Diego Forlan showed the world how he really is world class. Uruguay will start the same lineup and hope to give similar results, but ultimately know that the draw saw them through to the knockout stages at the top of the group. Forlan and Luis Suarez will continue to put pressure on the defense and add to the problem for Mexico. Forlan will have a difficult time against Rafael Marquez as two strangers not in any way. Therefore, look for both sides to show their attacking flair and a more complete Mexico Uruguay slipped past to claim the top spot.

Prediction:

Mexico 2-1 Uruguay
